Creating a Group that Consists of Other Groups
Step 1:
Create a financial group in the cost center Sub-Table (Sub-Table 200) as normal. This particular group will need to be a group level higher than the groups that will be included. In this example, the groups to be included are at group level five. Therefore, the new group will be at group level 6.
Step 2:
Click on the Group Definitions button at the bottom of the screen on the Groups tab of your new financial group.
Add each group to be included by clicking on Add at the bottom of the screen.
Then click on Another Group at the top of the screen under Type. Choose the group name in the Group Cd field. Click on Save at the bottom of the screen or hit [F10] on your keyboard. Repeat this step until all desired groups have been added.
If you click on the expand (+) button beside one of the groups that have been added, you will see the properties are included in the group.
Reports can be run for this group just like any other group.
